Aakriti Rani, Fashion Design graduate from NIFT.

A creative, talented and self motivated person who has
developed a mature and responsible approach towards
any task undertaken. An apparel designer, with
industry experience of 6 years in multi -product category
of Womenswear and kidswear who can profoundly work
with others to achieve the desired result with efficiency.

*Research orientation(methodical analysis from internet, fashion forecasting website WGSN, vogue runways and other sources)and keeping up to date with emerging as well as general trends related to fabrics, colors, shapes, style elements and overall construction of garment.

*Research seasonal theme and inspiration, fabric and colour concepts in collaboration with the Print Design team via fabric fairs, shopping and visual research, galleries etc.

*Working closely with Print Design, Product Development and Garment Tech, managing the shape development and fittings process.

* Working in collabration with fabric sourcing team to select fabrics, trims and fastenings for design developments.

*Participate in fittings, developing styles from sketch to sign off

*Keeping a proper follow-up on designs for approval at each stage of development(fabric, print and construction).

*Weekly design presentations/Planning with Head of design and Buying team , outlining design concepts and time line with Operational and Production teams.

*Designed for brands: Fabindia (Western wear ), Free People, Urban Outfitters, Zara Girls, Angel & Rocket, Ross, Suburbia, Superdry, Principles Smart, Maine, Mantaray, Holiday Shop, Tk Maxx, Debenhams Nightwear, Red Herring & Joules.
